Christmas shopping in July?

It's time..
It seems that merchants chose to display all their Holiday paraphernalia earlier and earlier each year. Let me put my swimsuit away before you start bombarding me with merchandise and nonsense I can’t think about yet, I say!
With that said, I know we need to be prepared and I’m the first to advice that shopping early is the best sale but give me a break. As I write this I could see the lights of my neighbors Christmas tree and all I could think is .. I haven’t even made my Christmas list, I need to get cards, wrapping paper.. ahhhhh.. Ok, let’s not get ahead of ourselves lets start with the basics.
At this point we are in mid November and I guess I should start thinking of what my plans are for this holiday season. The first thing I do each year is start my “prepare for the holidays” task using Microsoft works and off I go. This is a great little program that came with my computer that helps me get organized. Here I plan everything so at least I could set deadlines and start getting ideas of who gets what and what projects need to get done..
Ok, so I guess the holiday season must begin sometime and the time is right about now.. get organized and start the countdown..
